Student Researcher 

University of Florida

I traveled to Tanzania during the summer of 2024 under Dr. Strong's Pain Care Practices project, funded by the National Science Foundation. More information about this project can be found in the research section.

Disability Ambassadors 
University of Florida

Disability Ambassadors serve as student representatives for the Disability Resource Center on UF's campus. 

From 2024-2025 I served as the Co-President. I planned events, communicated with the Disability Resource Center, and led the executive board.

From 2023-2024 I served as the Director of Internal Engagement. I was in charge of planning social and community events to increase bonds between members and build the community for students interested in promoting accessibility and inclusion.

Undergraduate Florida Anthropology Student Association 

University of Florida

UFASA is a student organization building a community between Anthropology majors and non-majors interested in the discipline. 

 From 2024-2025, I served as the Secretary. 

From 2023-2024 I served as the Medical Anthropology Committee Director. I planned various events to increase student's understanding of this discipline including a Medical Anthropology workshop, film reviews, and a graduate student panel.

Center for African Studies CAS)

Ambassador 

University of Florida

CAS Ambassadors promote, plan, and implement events for the Center of African Studies. The Center for African Studies spans across countless disciplines, promoting knowledge about African countries, language learning, and research opportunities.

Delta Alpha Phi Honor Society (DAPI) 

University of Florida

DAPI is an honors society for students with disabilities. They build a community for like-minded, academically driven students. 

From 2024-2025 I served as the President.

University of Florida

I joined Medi-Gators following my decision to pursue medical school. I participated in their virtual shadowing program from ___ to ___ and have been involved with their mentorship program since _____.

Student Researcher 

Florida Gulf Coast University

I was a mentee of Dr. Max Stein (PhD) at Florida Gulf Coast University. I participated in a student-run medical anthropology project assessing basic need insecurities on college campuses. This was a mixed-methodology study.
